| 1 to 40 | 25% | 20% | 15% |

Household monthly income per person is the household’s total gross monthly income divided by the number of family members.

## How the net premium is worked out

1. Start with the premium for your age.
2. Add the **30% Additional Premium** if it applies.
3. Subtract the **premium rebate** (older members, by entry age and age band; the figures are indicative).
4. Take off the **premium subsidy** as a percentage of that amount.
5. Take off the **Merdeka Generation subsidy** (5% or 10% of the premium after rebate).

Example: age 41, income $2,000 per person, Annual Value $15,000: $637 less 25% = **$477.75** a year. Age 70, Merdeka, entry age 45: $1,326 − $48 = $1,278, less 35% ($447.30) and 5% ($63.90) = **$766.80**.

## Not included
