Full-time National Service has an end date. MINDEF publishes duration as 24 months for most enlistees and 22 months for some PES categories. This page treats ORD as enlistment plus the duration, minus one day, because the enlistment day counts as day one of service.
Worked example: enlisted 15 October 2024 for 24 months. Anniversary is 15 October 2026; ORD is 14 October 2026 (729 days later). That is the calendar identity families screenshot into group chats.
Disruptions, AWOL, medical downgrade, or signed extensions change the real ORD. Officers and specialists still use the same duration math unless MINDEF states otherwise on the enlistment orders. This tool does not add extra days for confinement or subtract leave — leave is taken inside the service period.
IPPT, book-out timing, and ORD parade dates are unit admin. Use this for the statutory-style calendar date, then confirm on NS Portal.

Why minus one day?
Serving 24 months starting 15 Oct 2024 completes on 14 Oct 2026, not 15 Oct 2026.
Who serves 22 months?
Some PES or enlistment schemes. Choose 22 months only if your orders say so.
Does leave push ORD?
Ordinary leave is inside the 24 months. Extra days usually come from disruptions recorded by the unit.
Is ORD a book-out in the morning?
Unit admin decides the time. This page is the calendar date.
Does this work for NSF officers?
Duration is still 24 months unless orders say otherwise.
What about disruption?
A recorded disruption lengthens service. Re-enter a later equivalent enlistment or add the days yourself; this tool does not.
Timezone?
Dates are treated as Singapore calendar dates.
